Built from real production experience.

HexCore Manufacturing grew out of a working product line — not a business plan. We started by manufacturing our own products, learned what customers actually need from a production partner, and built the shop around that.

How we started

It started with our own product line.

HexCore Manufacturing came out of HexCore Mounts, a product company we built from the ground up. We were already running production for our own line of firearm mounting solutions — handling design, material selection, print settings, quality review, and fulfillment ourselves — when customers started asking for help with their own parts.

One-off pieces. Custom replacements. Small batches. Production problems they couldn't solve through a standard online print service. The jobs kept coming. The referrals grew. The repeat customers stayed.

We didn't pivot to manufacturing. We expanded into it because the demand was already there, and we already knew how to do the work.

Where we came from
HexCore Mounts Our own product line gave us hands-on experience with FDM production before we ever took a customer job.
Customer demand Early manufacturing work came from the HexCore Mounts community — customers who had already seen how we handled our own products.
Word of mouth Those early jobs turned into referrals, larger runs, and long-term production relationships.
How we operate

Manufacturing is about execution, not just equipment.

More printers does not automatically mean better results. Production outcomes depend on communication, planning, file review, and consistent follow-through from quote to delivery.

Clear communication from the first request

Every job is reviewed before pricing. We confirm the model, material direction, expected finish, quantity, and timeline before production starts — not after. If something needs to be flagged, we flag it early.

Project management built into the process

Our team brings a background in telecom project management — an industry where timelines, coordination, and accountability are non-negotiable daily. That discipline carries over directly into how we handle customer production schedules and communication.

Repeat customers get a real system

Once a part is approved and a production run is complete, the file, settings, material, and handling notes go on record. Reorders are faster, more consistent, and require less back-and-forth every time.

Files treated with care

Customer files, models, drawings, and project details are handled carefully and not shared outside production. See our Customer File & IP Policy for specifics.

Who we work with

Built for customers who need parts made reliably.

We work best with customers who have a clear production need and want a shop that communicates, follows through, and treats their project seriously.

Product builders

Prototypes, samples, housings, brackets, and small-run production for companies that need U.S.-based manufacturing without building their own shop.

Inventors and developers

First parts, fit checks, functional prototypes, and early production runs for people moving from idea to physical product.

Replacement part needs

Discontinued parts, custom replacements, and hard-to-find plastic components reproduced from supplied models, photos, or measurements.

Repeat production programs

Ongoing manufacturing relationships for businesses that need consistent, reorderable parts with predictable lead times and quality.

Production capacity

More than 130 active printers backing every job.

Our production setup supports prototype samples, approved small-batch runs, repeat manufacturing orders, and larger contract production programs. Capacity is reviewed job by job — quantity, material, print time, and timeline are all confirmed before work begins.

When production demand grows, so do we. Our setup is built to scale, and we can expand active printer capacity as job volume and program needs require.
